Hey Mike, any chance that this Rhino takes the place of your G27 as CCW?

Not at this point. I really like my G27 and am used to it for that purpose. But, I think the Rhino would make an excellent CCW. At this time holsters are scarce. The Rhino comes with a OWB pancake holster that’s actually pretty nice. But, IWB would likely have to be custom made for now.

It is FUGLY, but I want one too. Of course I want the new Kel-tec shotgun. AND the FN 5.7 pistol and the PS90.

I have my ATF interview in two weeks in regards to my FFL. My patient are excited about doing transfers with me and ordering firearms.

I am still waiting on my silencers.

Haha… I think it’s beautiful in its own way… like an English Bulldog is cute.

I’ve got the FN 5.7. I might have to do a review of that one, too. 🙂 And, like you, I’m jonesing for a PS90. The Keltec KSG shotgun looks VERY interesting. I like their PMR-30, too. Though Keltec suffers a reputation of quality control issues. So, I may not be the earliest adopter on those.

I’d also like to get the “White Rhino” (brushed nickel finish) in a 5 or 6 inch frame. I think it’s gorgeous. Ugh… my gun “wish list” is LONG! 😀

How difficult is it to get an FFL? What are the advantages / disadvantages? Costs? Feel free to email privately, if you prefer. Thanks!

Still waiting on the FN 5.7 review!!! 🙂

My FFL should be here in a couple of weeks. Then just have to get signed up with the FBI background check. Then ShootingDentist.com, LLC will be ready to go. I’ll let you know when I am set up with the wholesalers. You will get everything at cost. Your revupmymarketing book has saved my practice!!!

People keep saying that the Rhino is an ugly gun, but I don’t see it; I mean, it is definitely a different design than your standard revolver, but thinking it’s ugly is just ridiculous (especially considering the uncountable true monstrosities in the fire arms world!).

Honestly, I don’t know about which serial #’s to look for in order to assure the latest iteration is being purchased. Sorry and good luck!

No ideas, Joy. I’d find a gunsmith to check it out. I’ve not had that issue. Maybe do a google search to see if anyone else has? Good luck!

Check your local gun store, first. If they can’t get it, you could go online and have it delivered through your local FFL (licensed firearms dealer).

Recoil awareness is very subjective from person to person. Certainly, .38-spl and .357-mag both exhibit fairly stout recoil in small frame revolver like a snubnose. In a larger, heavier frame with a longer barrel, the felt recoil will be less. The best way to find out what works for you is try before you buy. Either rent some guns (if your range offers rentals) or find some friends with various guns and give them a try. Good luck!
